DAWN’S POEM
For the old has withered and died
And my soul has been made alive
Newness completes me and through
Your blood my tears are dried.
For unto You I commit my soul.
Unto You I release my will.
The roots are pulled up,
Of rebellion, shame and pride.
The old me is dead, crucified
And through Christ I am made alive.
The Lord is perfect and mighty
In all His ways and I bless His name.
He has redeemed the brokenhearted
And conquered the grave.
